Dr. Arturo Sandoval – MD, FACOG
Dr. Arturo Sandoval began medical Training in his native Guadalajara, graduating with Honors at Medical school, then he did three years of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Guadalajara where he scored on the top 1% for the National residence admission test. After that Dr. Arturo Sandoval came to Houston, Texas. To complete another 4 years of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of medicine (Best Medical schools by US. News) working at some of the best hospitals in the world like MD Anderson Cancer Center, the Methodist Hospital, St. Luke’s Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital, Woman’s Hospital, all this comprising the largest medical center in the world.
Education & Experience
During his Residency at Baylor as a second-year resident Dr. Sandoval obtained the highest score on the national obstetrics and gynecology test (CREOG) of all the Ob/Gyn residents at the time in Baylor and scoring again on the top 1% in the United States. He also won the award of Outstanding Medical Student Educator while in Residency. Dr. Arturo Sandoval did a total of 7 years of Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency training well above the 4 years average of an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician.
Dr. Sandoval is a Board Certified physician on Obstetrics and Gynecology, and after finishing Residency went into private practice where he has been involved on infertility and laparoscopic surgery research, currently training doctors on laparoscopic surgery and minimally invasive procedures.
Dr. Arturo Sandoval has a personal passion for delivering the highest level of care to his patients with the least invasive options. Areas of interest include minimally invasive surgery with the da Vinci System, infertility, anti-aging, and cosmetic gynecological surgery.
